How We Connect and Grow
It all began with Jesus. He started with 12 people. He knew they wanted more than what they were living and how they were acting. He had a goal to change them forever. When the Christian Church began and after the Good News was shared with thousands in Jerusalem (Acts 2), small groups gathered to be with like-minded people. Throughout that wonderful, historical book of the beginnings of the Church records again and again small groups meeting to pray, to study, and to encourage.
Hebrews 10:24-25 “Let us consider how we can stir up one another to love. Let us help one another to do good works. And let us not give up meeting together. Some are in the habit of doing this. Instead, let us encourage one another with words of hope. Let us do this even more as you see Christ’s return approaching.”
“Life is not meant to be lived alone.” (Rick Warren)
Hillside’s small groups vary in size and purpose. But the ultimate goal is to encourage one another in their walk of faith. If you are interested in being a part of any of our small groups contact Pastor Pat or Pastor Maiya.
