How often have you thought or said, ‘God, why did you let this happen?’  Is He supposed to intervene like a supernatural airbag to protect us from everything bad, wrong, evil?  We must consider how our choices impact the consequences we face. Praise God that He gives us choices. But no matter how much He loves us, His love does not change but God must limit His interventions. We are designed to live with the consequences of our choices. Blessings and curses–God’s system to guide us towards Him.  We are designed to learn from the guaranteed moral laws of the universe–the right and wrong of our world.  What choices will you make?

Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer. For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes…Fear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name. He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.
