People have real-life question about their daily lives and relationships; they are often struggling with finding solutions. They haven’t yet seen or understood that what God has to offer them will provide help or relief in all that they are looking for.  Believers must begin to see these people not as sinners or unbelievers or non-Christians. When we start to see them the way Jesus does, how we relate to them can open up doors of hope. Jesus sees them as not yet enabled, not yet discovering God’s love and grace, not yet found by Him. His work begins with the grace that must occur first to awaken them. It’s His work. Don’t block His grace by labeling or accusing or being angry because of their choices.  So the question is this: how might we show them His sun, His rain, His love, His grace? The glorious result is reigning with our Lord.

But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!  In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.  If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that?
