(Luke 23, message begins at 32:50)
Jesus went to the place intended for a murderer. What was He doing while the onlookers chose to mock Him? When we behold the cross we are stunned. He was humble, obedient, forgiving. Let’s take on the work of His Cross and be about the Father’s business.
When He appeared in human form, He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on the cross. Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the names above all names. That at the name of Jesus every knee will bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will declare that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.”Philippians 2:8-11
