(Luke 24:44-53, message begins at 40:30)
Let’s rejoice with the words we say in the Apostle’s Creed: “Jesus ascended into heaven and sits on the right hand of God the Father, from where He will come to judge the living and the dead.” These words affirm that Christ is in His Kingdom of Heaven and yet He is in our midst. These words affirm that Christ is ruling as King. He is LORD of all! These words affirm that Christ will return. For certain. He will come to do what He promised. These words can bring you great comfort and hope.
Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and He will again send you Jesus, our appointed Messiah. For He must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.Acts 3:20-21
