Philippians 4:6-7
Have you considered the word “thanks” and the word “gratitude”? There are proven benefits for each of us when we choose gratitude. God tells us in HIs Word the power of gratitude. Our Lord God promises His Peace when we walk in a spirit of gratitude. A failure to give thanks to God, to glorify Him for His many gifts creates a spiritual darkness in us. God’s joy is waiting for those who seek to offer hearts of thanksgiving to the Giver of many gifts. Share the blessings of gratitude with others.
Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One.
