There are many references to widows in the Bible, two stories show us what God values in a person. The widow in Zarephath truly believed she and her son were going to eat their last meal. Yet, she obeyed the prophet of God without questions. Jesus declares the faithfulness and trust in the widow who gave unquestioningly out of her poverty–all she had.

Why does God honor these two widows? Raw obedience, trusting His promises, waiting for Him to provide. Seek to be a God hero!
