Eyes Opened! Hearing, then Listening

(sermon begins 26:00)  Luke 24:13-34
The two travelers on the road to Emmaus, were reeling from the loss of their friend, their rabbi, their leader Jesus. Jesus opened their eyes to Who He truly was/is. He opened their eyes to what His true purpose was for coming to earth.
This passage helps us understand, to truly see Christ inwardly in our hearts. It begins with learning what has been told to us in the Old Testament about the Christ. It prepares us for the full plan of what God designed.  This passage also guides us when we look Outward towards others. When our knowledge is more complete we can help lead others to this glorious plan. His Word opens our eyes too!  His goal is to restore you.
