(sermon begins 20:25) Mark 10:29-31
When Jesus taught about relationships, He gave us a new vision of who is in our family. He taught that we will be blessed mightily when we embrace loving people who are not like us. Even more so, when we embrace people we don’t particularly like we will find joy ‘one hundred-fold’. When we become His image-bearer we discover the blessing of expanding our hearts, the reality of our status quo being turned upside down, and the reminder that His Kingdom is not for people who seek to be first.
I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb.
