Doubt is a Prayer Killer

Jesus promised us time and time again–if you ask you will receive. So why don’t we believe Him? Asking in prayer requires deep conviction in faith that God will do what we ask. We are partners with Him when we pray. Abraham hoped against hope and did not doubt. God strengthened his faith. It is God who gives you the faith to not doubt. So what do we do? Trust and wait. But do not doubt.

f any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.  But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.   James 1:5-6
