God’s Words have power because of the very fact that He is the Ultimate Power. God’s Words also have intent. They have a desire for them to impact those He loves. His words reveal His heart. Because of His great power and the desires of His heart, anything God wants will happen. When we stay close to the Lord God, He can and will speak words to you to guide you, to give you what you need to hear. He says, ‘Remain in Me, align with Me, be in relationship with Me and My words will be in you. Asking for something in true alignment with what God wants is getting what you ask for. That is the essence of prayer. You will get nothing out of life without intention, focus, and sacrifice. God has given us a unique trait–intentionality. It is how He has wired us.  When He blesses us, it is with intentionality. What if we align our desires with His? He wants to bless you, keep you, and give you peace.

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.  They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.”
