Joshua 3:5. “Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”
God uses His words and His actions through His people. He does this way beyond our abilities or understanding. The Lord speaks amazing things He wants to do and uses us. Seek to be in tune with Him when you pray. God gave Joshua six promises in Joshua 1. They were spoken as commands. Joshua worked through and accepted those commands, those promises to reveal a NEW promise to the people. Joshua processed all the implications of what God told him and applied it anew to prepare the people to move on faith. Let’s be a people that looks for what God can do. When God is telling us to do something, then He will make it happen. That’s Joshuicious-ness. Are you willing to take it on? What are your expectations of God when you pray? God DOES have supernatural answers still today. He wants You to be a part of His work.
Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
