God’s pre-Creation plan was to create people who would be like Him, love like Him. Our role is to choose to imitate Him. When we choose to act on His promptings to love. We choose to declare, display, and act on this kind of love–unconditional love. Love that anticipates the hurt and rejection and yet, still loves. The Holy Spirit gives the power to love like this. It is still our choice. Ask to be filled. God is waiting.

but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
